Overview

The Greene NYC will have forty class-A, one-bedroom apartments as well as one commercial space on the first floor (more info on commercial space) in the Long Island City area of Queens. There are 20 parking spaces for residents as well as recreation and green garden space on a penthouse level. It is being built with state-of-the-art construction. Our LEED-accredited professional has incorporated various energy-efficient features into the design.

Common Spaces

The building’s green-theme will greet residents as they enter the building with a living wall and nature photographs, which also line the residence’s hallways. Exercise, grill, or just hang out on a landscaped rooftop with a magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline. Take advantage of a screening room with projector and video game console, storage space, and smartphone-based access control for tenants.

Units

Follow the green theme to residents’ units. All have generous lighting, energy-efficient heating and cooling, sound-attenuated and energy-efficient windows, and individualized temperature control. Other unit amenities include a terrace, stainless steel appliances, tile flooring, and a washer/dryer combo.

Neighborhood

Residents are only three subway stops away from Manhattan on the NW train, which is a three-minute walk from the building. There are many services and dining choices nearby as well as green spaces, urban gardening, and farm-share options. The arts are an integral feature of the LIC neighborhood, including numerous production houses, the Museum of the Moving Image, MoMA PS1, 5 Pointz, and more.
